I’ve been in the Hair Industry for over ten years, having started my own company in 2019. In January 2022 I made the big (crazy) decision to sell everything and go completely mobile with my business! After travelling around the world seeing some pretty incredible sites, I am still gobsmacked by the absolutely beauty of Australia. One of the most incredible destinations by far is one in my home state of Queensland, the one and only Whitsundays. So the decision to move here was not a had one at all! Styling is my passion, especially for weddings, it is so rewarding to see a bride glow on what will be one of her most memorable days. My attention to detail and passion for styling allows me to create looks that accentuate my bride’s natural features, making them feel their best self. My goal is to help people understand what they really want, then I work with them to achieve exactly that - and I won’t stop until it’s perfect, whether it be styling for a wedding, an event, a photoshoot, or even some simple head shots.

I believe in adventures,
and love stories.

Erin's Approach

Unlike most that enter the Hair and Beauty Industry, I wasn’t yet sold on high maintenance hair and fake lashes, to be honest being a hairdresser wasn’t even on my radar! I have a very mathematical brain with a creative flare which was pointing me in a completely different direction to where I have now ended up. But in saying that, I believe I am absolutely where I am meant to be! After attempting to knuckle down at University I knew my heart wasn’t fully in it. I ended up back in my hometown of Toowoomba where I like to say I ‘fell’ into an apprentice role at a well know salon in town. I went on to be awarded Apprentice of the Year for SEQ after accelerating through my apprenticeship completing it early due to my “natural flare”. I have since won numerous photographic and live model awards, I was also invited to be a part of ghd’s Black Label team in Brisbane. One of my greatest achievements was taking out first place at the regional World Skills Competition, then going on to place eighth in Australia competing in Perth at a National level (where at this stage I was still only a second-year apprentice).

To be completely honest, I'm not like all the rest.

People often describe me as a bubbly and energetic personality, I think that is probably an understatement. I’ve always been the adventurous type, my thirst for travel really kicked in when I took a brief hiatus in 2017 moving across the world to work and travel for 18 months. After moving back to my hometown of Toowoomba and running a boutique salon, that adventurous itch definitely had me scratching! So, the decision to go sell my salon and go mobile was a no brainer, combining my two passions – travel and hair styling. Because, why not? As Covid has limited overseas travel, more and more people are choosing to holiday, travel and celebrate at home in Australia, and so am I. My business is completely mobile, meaning I am able to come to you, literally anywhere from the mountains to the sea! My aim is to make your styling experience as stress-free as possible. By coming to you, it allows me to make you feel comfortable, supported, and relaxed on your special day.
