Bec, my absolutely stunning sister, and Joe my wonderful new brother-in-law decided that having a traditional wedding in our hometown wasn't quite their style. Instead they decided combining their love for each other and their love for the beach holidays was the way to go -
hello DESTINATION WEDDING!
Airlie Beach was top of the list and it was there we ended up at one of my favourite weddings so far. Bec and I worked together over the few months leading up to the wedding figuring out exactly what it was she wanted to do with her hair and came to combine a few different elements she liked from three different inspiration pictures she had. We created this beautifully styled ponytail that was slightly woven/braided, adding in some of my handcrafted hair pins using the same peals from her back piece. It all tied together perfectly with her dress and the coastal theme day.
